Background
One of the most efficient ways to communicate with customers, prospects, and
employees is to share information via a newsletter. Effective communication is critical in
relationships and vital to success. With a compelling newsletter, the sky is the limit.
The Agony
If newsletters are so desirable, why then, do organizations kill their newsletter programs
after only a few issues? Ask anyone charged with producing newsletters, and youll
quickly hear that the hassle, time, and cost involved makes them as aggravating as they
are expensive. The traditional process creates far too many stumbling blocks along the
way. Where will the content come from? What will the layout look like? How will the
newsletters be distributed? Can they be posted to my Web site? Too many questions, and no
real resource available to provide direction and guidance.
What happened to the original promise of the Internet: to
bring democracy and collaboration to the communication process? What happened to leveling
the playing field, and giving the little guy the chance to be a giant in the world of the
Web? Even with the Internet explosion, no one, it seemed, had found a way to make the
whole newsletter process easy
until now.
The Ecstasy
iMakeNews is a one-stop newsletter service that enables individuals
to create and distribute superior newsletters affordably, efficiently, and easily at
significant cost savings. On average, producing a standard newsletter can cost $3,000 or
more an issue. With the iMakeNews service, that cost is cut drastically, to as little as
$100 an issue, exclusive of editorial content.
iMakeNews is an application service provider (ASP) focused
exclusively on the full cycle of creating and distributing newsletters. Utilizing its
proprietary software, iMakeNews has put all the necessary tools for formatting,
content management, distribution, interactivity, and feedback on a single Web site.
This allows writers and editors to focus on the richness, strategy, and creativity of the
editorial content and design, rather than on the cumbersome aspects of the process.
Customers can now write and publish often, with no pain.
